A sad day in Kpop, as Sojin, a member of “Baby Kara” has passed away at a young age.
Sojin was a trainee of DSP Media and a participant in MBC Music’s “Kara Project” where contestants competed to become a new member for Kara. Unfortunately, she was not selected.
Following her appearance in the show, her contract with DSP was terminated and she returned to her hometown.
A relation of hers was quoted as saying, “Sojin had great skills as a performer and she had done the best she could. She staked everything for her dream and worked harder than anyone else to try to fulfil that dream.”
Officials say Sojin was found lying unconscious in a flower bed at an apartment complex in Daejeon Daedeok-gu on February 24th, and died after being taken to the hospital.
